A vertically-hanging spring which has a k-constant of 15.0 N/m has a 1.50 x 102 g mass attached to it. How far will the spring stretch? Answer: (0.098m) please show process

It will stretch until the force up of the spring is equal to the force down of the weight.

kx = mg where x is the stretch

x = mg/k plug into the equation(Note that you must change g to kg in the mass and the stretch will be in meters.
