You must change the equation into y = mx+b form
where m is the slope and b is the y intercept.
7x + 9y - 7 = -9
move all but 'y' to the right side
9y = -7x +7 - 9
= -7x -2
divide by 9
y = -7x/9 -2/9
= (-7/9)x -2/9
so compare to y = mx +b
and you can find the slope and intercept
