Celine, this question is asking you to be able to list all values where tan(x) is undefined, so keep the definition of tan(x) = sin(x)/cos(x) in mind and list all places where cos(x) is zero--do you see how this answers the question?
Hope this helps, but please let me know--Andrew

Celine, I like your approach, and you see the need to include multiples, but make sure to define "n" and match that "n" with all the positive and negative values where cos(x) is zero. That is, cos(x) is not zero at x= 0*pi, for example, but cos(x) is zero at x= pi/2 and x = -pi/2. Does that make sense?--Andrew11/26/21
Celine Q.
Yes! It is all clear now. Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this to me.11/26/21

Celine Q.
Thank you. So the domain for sin(x) is all real numbers, and domain for sin(x)/cos(x) is all real numbers except for pi/2 + n\pi , so therefore domain for y is all real numbers except pi/2 + n\pi ?11/26/21
