Estimate the shoulder height

The height of an adult elk is related to its antler spread. This relationship can be modeled by the function h(x)=-204+68 in x where h(x) is the shoulder height and c is the antler spread (both in centimeters).

Given an antler spread of approximately 1.5 meters, estimate the shoulder height

Mark M.

Definition of h(x) does not contain an x nor a c. Review your post for accuracy.

There is no x or c in the equation.

I think that's what I wrote.

That's curious for another reason: it hints that antler spread causes height. I would have perhaps preferred the inverse function, implying that height causes antler spread. Even if they're both linear variables.
