If the mass of an object is halved and it's velocity is doubled, it's momentum will not change. Explain?

An object's momentum (P) is the mass (m) of the object multiplied by its velocity (v)

P = mv

If m is instead m/2 and v is instead 2v then P = (m/2)(2v) which still equals mv so there is no change in momentum.
