How does one draw reference angles on the coordinate plane in trigonometry: the trig "bow tie" of reference angles

If you're confused about how to draw reference angles for trig functions on the coordinate plane, imagine a bow tie along the x-axis. The key is to draw diagonally from the origin and then draw back to the x-axis, never the y-axis.
