A 2.1 kg pile of aluminum cans is melted, then cooled into a solid cube. What is the volume of the cube?

Answer 1

Volume = mass/density

Search for the density of aluminum (you can do a google search), and use it in the formula above.

Since the mass and the density do not change, the volume of the solid will be the same whether it's in the form of a cube, sphere, etc.
