Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
y = 16x -21 has y intercept = -21 ore l the point (0,-21)
when a linear equation is solved for y, the y intercept is the constant term
to find the x intercept set y=0
0=16x-21
16x = 21
x = 21/16 = 1 5/16 or 1.315 which is the point (21/16, 0)
the linear equation is graphically a straight line which has only 1 y intercept and only 1 x intercept
Or it's possible you meant y=16x^-21 if so,
then y=16/x^21
the y intercept is when x=0, but
y=16/0^21 = 16/0 which is undefined.
there is no y intercept. x=0 is an asymptote
same with the x intercept, which doesn't exist.
x^21= 16/y, the x intercept if any is when y=0
x^21= 16/(0) which is undefined
x = the 21st roof of 16/0 which is also undefined.
