Physics help about reaction time trials!

Hi! If we were to calculate the reaction time of humans, why do we need 20 trials and use the mean value?

Hi! Can you please expound further on why its 20 trials and not 50 or 3? Is there some kind of material that I could reference? Thank you so much!

Hello Rin Appreciate your question Simulation studies show that a good rule of thumb is to have 10-15 observations per term in multiple linear regression. For example, if your model contains two predictors and the interaction term, you'll need 30-45 observations.
