asked 07/13/21In the diagram, q1 = -4.60 x 10^-6 C, 92 +3.75 x 10^-6 C, and q3 = +8.30 x 10^-5 C. Find the direction of the net force on 93.
The diagram is a right triangle. Q1 is connected to Q3 (up-down) with a distance of 0.200 m. Q3 is connected to Q2 (right-left) with a distance of 0.200 m. Q2 is connected to Q1 (diagonally) with a distance of 0.283 m. Q2 has an interior angle of 45 degrees.
I tried to get the magnitude and got the wrong answer too.

Is the answer 5.0 *10^-3 N
If yes get back to me
F1 = 4.29*10 -3
F2 =7* 10-3 N
Theta = 135

Unfortunately it was incorrect. I kept getting 39.2 but after I learned it was incorrect I gave yours a try. I suppose this question is just tricky. I appreciate the help though :)01/11/22

I came upon the same question again and realized that I was using the inverse tangent with the x and y switched. So, if you enter inverse tan in your calculator then divide 85.81 by 69.95, you will receive an answer of 50.8 which was correct! Figured I would leave that here in case anyone else was struggling as I was.01/20/22
