I'm looking to scrape the images from https://www.shopthefastlane.com/shop/categories/229 using beautifulsoup. I am trying to access the span class entitled "cell-image show", but searching by class using contents= soup.find('span', {"class": "cell-image show"}) doesn't return anything.

Here you are searching for the correct class and the setup looks good, but you also need to specify an extra "number" class.

Try this:

contents = soup.find("span", {"class": "cell-image show", "number": True})['number']

If that isn't the case for you, try to locate the heading element and then grab the sibling.

Something like this:

contents = soup.find("h3", text="name").previous_sibling.img["image"]
