If you'd like to sound as close to a native speaker as possible, you'll need to train your ear to hear where your accent differs from the American Accent. The first thing I would suggest is to find a "speech model", someone whose accent you'd like to acquire, and then try to listen for the differences. A systematic approach with goals targeted to acquiring the sounds and all of the characteristics you would need is the best place to begin. Accent "modification/reduction" tutoring would give you the skills in a systematic way, and include sounds and features of the American Accent as well as the correct rhythm, timing, and advanced vocabulary that will help you sound more like a native speaker.

To speak English like a native speaker, expose yourself as much as possible to the language. Watch movies, listen to music and podcasts, and talk to native speakers whenever you can. This helps you pick up on slang, pronunciation, and how words are naturally used in conversation. Pay attention to how words are formed and how people move their mouths—different languages use different muscles to speak. Practicing in front of a mirror or repeating phrases out loud can really help.
