cos²ϕ - 12sinϕcosϕ - 11sin² ϕ = 0.

This is homoginius equation. We dividing by cos²ϕ.

11tan² ϕ + 12tanϕ -1 = 0;

tanθ = (- 6 ± √(36 + 11)/11

tanθ = 0.0777867819 or tanθ = - 1.168695873
