please answer ASAP ... magnetism college-level physics

A negatively-charged particle travels parallel to magnetic field lines within a region of space. Which one of the following statements concerning the force exerted on the particle is true?

  1. The force slows the particle.
  2. The force has a magnitude of zero newtons.
  3. The force is directed perpendicular to the magnetic field.
  4. The force is perpendicular to the direction in which the particle is moving.
  5. The force accelerates the particle.

From physics, we know that F = qV x B = qVBsin\theta. If the particle has a velocity the same direction as the magetic field (B), what would be the result of the cross product? This should help you answer the question.
