Marquis De Sade

Why Annie le brun called Marquis a sudden block of Abyss?

Jim M.

An abyss is a usually dark and bottomless pit, which is what one encountered when they met the Marquis whose surname is the root of the word sadism, the love of afflicting pain and seeing others suffer, a bottomless pit of inhumanity and no empathy or mercy, as the Marquis was the embodiment of. A capitalized Abyss is almost always the same as eternal hades or hell. This is my educated guess, and the Marquis was sudden in fast carrying out his cruel objectives, I will add. Now scratch this and give your own opinion based on the characters.

Abyss - bottomless pit, which the inhumane Marquis was, an abyss of depravity and mercilessness, loving and living to inflict pain.
