What a fun question!! In the interest of academic integrity, I will only write a little bit to answer this question.
The Ghost of Christmas Present is described as a "jolly giant" who carried a torch in the shape of a cornucopia. He was dressed simply in a dark green robe with a fur collar, bare feet and a wreath of holly set with icicles. He had a scabbard and sheath for a sword but no sword. In fact, the sheath was rusted. What was really impressive about this spirit was all the food that accompanied him. In the present, Scrooge has tremendous wealth, but a stingy spirit. I believe the rusted sheath represents the fact that it has been a very long time since Scrooge has had to struggle (or fight) for anything he needed or wanted. At the end of his tranformation, Scrooge is happy and generous just as the Ghost of Christmas Present had appeared.
