m(x) = f(g(x)) so m(1) = f(g(1)). From the table, g(1) = 2 (yellow square) making the expression f(2) and then, from the table, f(2) = 5 (green square) so m(1) = 5.
n(x) = g(f(x) so n(1) = g(f(1)). From the table, f(1) = 0 making the expression g(0) and then, from the table, g(0) = 1 so n(1) = 1.
