Why do you think is the reason that at some angle of incidence, the incident ray will not be refracted by the prism and will just pass through the prism in a straight line?

What does the second case means sir? In my case base on the simulation i perform using olabs developed by amrita University the angle of incidence was 30 degrees even up to 40 when no refraction of light occur. It just begins to refract light beginning at 45 degrees angle of incidence
