Hi Mon! I am weird, but I LOVE assignments like this! I have no idea why they seem fun for me! I started a story, and You can finish it! (I underlined the assigned words for you.)
As soon as I rolled off my mattress, I knew my day was going to be odd. It wasn't just that I bumped my knee hard on the kitchen table before I had my needed 5 cups of coffee, I completely forgot I had an interview in an hour! I looked out my front window just long enough to check the skyline and see if we were going to have that storm coming in. It looked clear, but I should've turned on the weather.
Just as I turned off my porchlight, I heard a, "ZAP!" And the electricity in my entire house was gone. I didn't have time to check the breakers, and I threw my clothes on... in the dark... and left. I had to visualize whether my clothes for the interview even matched because I couldn't see myself in the mirror at all!
Ok... you finish this story! I think your main character is the ill-fated driver who picks up a hitchhiker... with a dog.... but you can decide! :-)
