According to principles of sound wave propagation in air
the intensity of sound wave is related to its amplitude by relation
I = [Pmax]2/2ρv Here v speed of sound, ρ density of medium, and Pmax is amplitude
Given: Pmax = 2 x 10-7, v = 343 m/s, and ρ = 1.2 kg/m3 Substituting values
We get I = [2 x 10-7]2/(1.2 x 343) = 9.718 x 10-17 W/m2
For Pmax = 4 x 10-7, I = 1.944 x 10-16 W/m2
