What are the criteria to teach French?

In my opinion, the criteria to teach French is a solid education in the language and a strong knowledge of grammar in French. I did all my schooling in French schools and passed my French baccalaureate. However knowledge of the language alone isn’t enough. I also have a master in education and have taught second language learners and dual immersion for 25 years. There are many different methods to teach a language, the natural approach is one of the best. I like to begin with a essential question. I will not go and describe the natural approach in detail since the web can provide that information.
