reference angle is +.71 with x = inverse sin(.71) = 45.235 degrees

add that to 180 to get one solution of 225.235 degrees

and subtract it from 360 to get a 2nd solution of 360-45.235= 314.765 degrees

sin45 = sqr2/2 = 1.414/2 = 0.707 which is slightly less than .71, so you know the reference angle is very close to 45
