A square panel of aluminum with sides of length L is positioned. A circular hole of diameter d = L/2 is cut from the sheet.

If the origin coincides with the center of square panel and circular hole is cut from first quadrant , then the new center mass will be in the third quadrant exactly diagonally opposite to the center of hole at same distance with coordinates as ( X3 = -X1 , Y3 = -Y1)
