Hi Ty ,
theta = 1 π 6 looks weird. Is it -1π/6 ?
is it 11π/6? Please check the problem. After that may be your question is for the "given value" of theta find the exact values for the following:
sec (theta) =
csc(theta)=
tan (theta) =
cot (theta) =
Let me assume that θ = 11π/6 to help you understand a similar problem.
Here is one approach to help you get started.
Let us convert the angle measure from radians to degrees.
So, θ = (11π/6) x (180/π) =11(30)= 330°, in Quadrant IV. This is the same as -30° or (-π/6)
radians.
Please look at the unit circle and you will know the value of tan(-π/6)=-√3.
cot (11π/6) is the reciprocal of tan (11π/6). What is the reciprocal of -√3 ?
What is the reciprocal trig function of sec(θ)?
How about the reciprocal trig function of csc(θ)?
Use those ideas ; look at the unit circle to figure out the value and the sign.
I sincerely hope you will look at your question again for the correct value of θ and make progress in answering the question completely.
