A dairy? Like a cow farm, with milking machines?
And if it is a diary not a dairy, that has no value or interest to the police. As long as the content on the phone isn't illegal (such as child porn, etc.) they don't really care about what content is on the phone. It's just a lost device that will be returned to you if it somehow turns up - which is unlikley. The only value in submitting the report is so that they have the information to know how to quickly contact you. If you backed up your information on the phone to the cloud however, a new phone should be able to quickly restore the data.
