Using graphics calculator, input x values as List L1 and y-values as List L2. The commands for TI-84 calculator are Stat - Edit and then edit list L1 and L2.

Now use calculator to fit in an exponential function. The commands are Stat - Calc - ExpReg and pick the list L1 and L2 for Xlist and YList by using 2nd - Stat commands. The Calculate gives the following best fit exponential function.

f(x) = 563.67 (1.035)^x .

Similarly find the linear regression equation using Stat - Calc - LinReg comands.

g(x) = 560.9 + 21.97x
