6 batches gives 21x12 = 252 cookies

8 batches gives 28x12 = 336 cookies

1 batch gives 42 cookies

c = 42b = number of cookies

d =7b/2 = number of dozens of cookies

for 12 batches

d = 7(12)/2 = 42 dozen cookies = 42(12) = 504 cookies

the y intercept = 0, meaning if there are zero batches there are zero cookies

the slope =7/2 = 3.5 means 3 1/2 times as many dozens as batches

for ever batch there is 3 1/2 dozen cookies

(UNLESS they mean "baker's dozen" which is 13 instead of 12)
