To do this writing assignment, I would first group together similar words in order to choose a topic that makes sense. For example, since assemble, exchange, and gossip reference social events, I would want my characters to include a group of people. Once a topic is chosen, sometimes it is easier to write the story first and then add in the vocabulary words.
