asked 02/17/21When you use a slingshot to fire a rock you stretch the rubber band 0.05m. It had 100J of potential energy. How much kinetic energy will the rock leave the slingshot with?
Please show work, of how you found the mechanical energy.

This is a law of conservation of energy problem. There is not energy loss to the system so
Energy in = energy out
PE = KE
So your kinetic energy is 100J.
