How do I get the spring force from the initial length and distance stretched

Spring Constant = Force/ Extension = Force /( Final length - Initial length)

A hard spring has higher spring constant as compared to a soft spring

Two springs connected in series make a softer spring and two springs connected in parallel make a harder spring with higher spring constant
