Period (T) for mass spring system is T = 2pi (square root of mass/k) , where k is the spring constant.
So if mass is 2.0kg initially and let's say k = 1 N/m
T = 2pi (square root of 2/1) = 2.89 seconds
So now lets increase the mass from 2.0kg to 5.0kg, then T = 14.05 seconds...so your period increases with a greater mass.
