OK, the number is n
the sum of 2/3 and 4 times the number means...
2/3 + 4n
=
5/6 "subtracted from five times the number" means...
5n - 5/6
SO...2/3 + 4n = 5n - 5/6
let's call those 2/3 4/6 instead, and from there, you can combine terms and solve it...
(But it will be an ugly fraction, not a nice whole number...)
