A 2-kg disc moves in uniform circular motion on a frictionless horizontal table, attached to the point of rotation by a 10-cm spring with a spring constant of 50N/m. When stationary, the spring has a length of 8 cm. How much work is performed on the disc by the spring as the disc moves through one full revolution?

According to the picture at that web site, the spring provides the centripetal force for the disk's rotation.

Since that force is perpendicular to the velocity of the rotating disk, the work is 0.
