Is the question written correctly? I see "log of 6⁷⁷⁷⁶ = 5." That doesn't make sense to me because 6⁷⁷⁷⁶ doesn't equal 5. It equals a humongous (metric term) number that won't fit on my Excel spreadsheet, even with scientific notation.

If the number was supposed to be 6⁷, the result is 279936, so that isn't correct, either.

I do note that:

6⁵ = 7776

So that would produce the following log relationship.

log₆(7776)= 5

This tells us the the base, 6, when raised to the power of 5 will result in 7776. I wonder if your question can be answered with this perspective on the question.

7776 = 6^5

maybe log6^7776 means log to the base 6 of 7776 = 5

then in exponential form 6^5 = 7776
