How do you find the direction of angular acceleration?

My teacher gave us this problem and i am unsure on how to solve for the direction of the angular acceleration.

Mr. Foster is riding a bicycle eastward on a bicycle when he reaches a large hill and loses speed as he ascends the hill. The front wheel of his bike has a radius of 0.7 meters. If his speed decreases from 15 m/s to 5 m/s over an interval of 15 seconds, what is the direction of his angular acceleration?
