Yes to all above, but the function is also undefined at x = -4 too (the graph has an infintesimal hole there, called a "removable discontinuity). The graph of f(x) looks exactly like 1/(x - 2) except for the hole at ( -4 , - 1/6). (If you enter f(x) into a graphing utility, the graph won't show the hole, but a table of values will show "error" in the y-column for x = -4.) The domain excludes both x-values that make the original denominator = 0. Thus, the domain should be ( -∞ , -4 ) ∪ ( -4 , 2 ) ∪ ( 2, ∞ ).
