v = d/t = (30 miles)/(120 minutes) = 0.25 miles/minute however, that is a unit that is not typical for speed. It would be more common to list speed in units of miles per hour so instead of thinking of the time as 120 minutes, why don't we think about it as 2 hours? [120 minutes x (1 hour)/(60 minutes) = 2 hours]
So v = d/t = (30 miles)/(2 hours) = 15 miles/hour
