- The negative in front of the x is a reflection on the y axis.
- The +3 is a horizontal shift 3 units to the left.
For the second one,
- The 1/2 is a horizontal stretch by a factor of 2
- The +5 is a vertical shift up 5 units
For the third one, I cannot tell what the equation is. Please check it and clarify if there is an x missing? Is this 5th root?
