Precalculus Question

sec theta - cos theta / sec theta = sin^2 theta.

My guess is you mean this: (sec x - cosx)/secx , that is the first two terms are the numerator of a fraction with a denominator of sec x (I used x instead of theta). And you are asked to prove that this is an identity?
