Ohm's law is typically written as E = IR where E is the voltage, I is the current, and R is the resistance. Rearranged, I = E/R where now the proportionality constant is 1/R; so, this shows the current is proportional to the voltage. Answer a is the only correct answer. Incidentally, 1/R is called the conductance.
