Infinity is not a real number, and even if it were, it wouldn't be the answer to dividing something by zero. There is no number that you can multiply by 0 to get a non-zero number. There is NO solution, so any non-zero number divided by 0 is undefined.

If we can make the square root of -1 equal i, then can we make 1/0 equal something like u? and just like how we can graph on the imaginary plain to get the roots of a the parabolas that don't have real roots, could we graph on the u plain to let the y intercept of some graphs that don't have a real y intercept such as the function 1/x?
