So, in order to find (f+g)(x), first try and remember what (f+g)(x) means. You are trying to find the sum of the given functions, f(x)=x-3, and g(x)=2x-4. So, what you need to do is add the inputs of each function. For example, in the first function, f(x), the input is: x=3.
