Initial momentum of ball = mV1 =0.190*15.8 = 3.002 kgm/s ( -ve X direction )
Change in Momentum = Force *time = 2.04*103 *0.00320= 6.528 kgm/s ( +ve X direction )
Total final Momentum = 3.002 + 6.528 = 9.53 kgm/s
= mv2
v2 = Final velocity =9.53/m=9.53/0.190 = 50.157 m/s , which is of ball speed towards the pitcher

This is wrong. You don't add the two momentums together you must subtract the initial from the final.06/04/21
