Answer B is correct
Specific gravity is gravity with respect to water
If the specific gravity of an object is less than an that of water the object will float
If its more than that of water it will sink ( Specific gravity >1)
( C) can not be correct as because >0 an be any number
( D ) can also not be correct , specific gravity can not be negative
Specific gravity is generally taken with respect to water

Answer is B. Specific Gravity is less than 1. This means it is less dense than water. And the value of SG tells us how much of the object will be above the water. For Ice and Water it is about 7%.10/23/20
