The net force is the vector sum of the four forces.
You can first add the north and south forces, yielding 120N to the north.
Then you add the east and west forces, yielding 50N to the west.
Therefore the sum of those two forces will then lie in the
north-west quadrant, and can be calculated from the resulting right-angle triangle.
From the Pythagorean theorem the net force is 130N.
By using trigonometry the angle off north is about 22.6 degrees.
