rocket with a mass of 2.5 kg is traveling with a velocity of 74 m/s. The force of the launch is 24.5 N.
What is momentum of the rocket?
What is the time for the rocket to travel during this launch?
a) momentum = mv = 2.5×74 = 185 kg •m/s^2
b) time duration = change in momentum/force
( 185-0)/24.5 = 7.55s
