u = 0 (no initial vertical velocity), a = 9.81, s = 0.74, giving t = √0.151 = 0.389s

In 0.389s the cat moved 1.4 m horizontally at constant horizontal speed so speed = 1.4 / 0.389 = 3.99 m/s
