Generally we use two terms
Gravity on earth , which means acceleration due to gravity . Denoted as g ( m/s2 ) ( value average = 9.8m/s2 on earth)
This varies from placed to place on earth and from one planet to another and in case of earth's natural satellite moon it is one sixth that on earth
Another term used is Gravitational constant , denoted as G ( universal gravitational constant )
Its value is same all over ( g = 6.67* 10 -11 Nm2 kg-2 )
This has same all over the universe
