Distance = (Rate)(Time), so Time = Distance / Rate
Let x = speed of the plane. Then, x - 110 = speed of car
Since Time of plane = Time of car, we have 320 / x = 100 / (x - 110)
Cross multiply to get 320(x - 110) = 100x
220x = 35200
x = 160 mph
