If I was to give any political ideology, I would give you the ideology of a representative republic. I think that political Ideology particularly most align with a realistic anthropological view of man. The idea of a representative republic takes into a account the nature of man that many would argue require checks and balances in order to provide for the common welfare.
A representative republic is simply put a system or philosophy of government in which the people engage in democratic voting but rather that a direct effect that is cause by voting the effect is mediated through a representative or group of representative. The representative then speaks and acts on behalf of their constituents, the people that put the representative in power.
Representative Republic also has encompasses a system of law and order. Those representative voted into power primary function is to promote the welfare and safety of their respective constituents. This brings in the idea of checks and balances of governmental power. The idea of checks and balances are found in many governments that holds to a representative republic form of government. The idea behind checks and balances to provide a check against the tendency for governmental officials to abuse the powers invested in them.
To conclude this of course is not a comprehensive view of the ideology of a Representative Republic but I hope it helps.
Thank you!
